Like the famous medieval mercenary Bertrand Du Guesclin, I neither remove nor appoint kings, but rather I serve my opinion and based on this, I can say that I was little or, rather, not at all affected at the time by the extraordinary literary ravages of Dan Brown, whose fictional symbolism unleashed a passion for a current of thought, the esoteric, which in the end has always been present, with greater or lesser validity, in the dark alleys of History.
Part of this current, however, has been based mainly on this eternal struggle between opposites - as Jung and his school would say - which, reduced to its minimum expression, turns these antagonistic inhabitants of human consciousness into the angels and demons of tradition, who have in the cities and their inhabitants an unequalled battlefield, in which to surreptitiously settle their eternal differences.
Como el famoso mercenario medieval, Bertrand Du Guesclin, yo tampoco quito ni pongo rey, sino que, más bien, sirvo a mi opinión y en base a ello, puedo decir, que poco o mejor dicho, nada me afectaron, en su momento, los extraordinarios estragos literarios de Dan Brown, cuyo novelado simbolismo, hizo desatarse la pasión por una corriente de pensamiento, la esotérica, que en el fondo, ha estado siempre presente, con mayor o menor vigencia, en los oscuros callejones de la Historia.
Parte de esa corriente, sin embargo, se ha fundamentado, principalmente, en esa eterna lucha entre los opuestos -como dirían Jung y su escuela- que, reducida a su mínima expresión, convierte a estos antagónicos habitantes de la consciencia humana, en los ángeles y demonios de la tradición, que tienen en las ciudades y sus habitantes, un campo de batalla inigualable, en el que dirimir, subrepticiamente, sus eternas diferencias.
