One of the wisest books and by default, a jewel that should appear in every self-respecting library, as an immeasurable heritage of wisdom, regardless of our religious beliefs, without a doubt, is Ecclesiastes, which, metaphorically speaking and of course, always saving the distances, it could be compared with other great jewels of wisdom and thought of all times, such as the Chinese Book of Changes -text and divination system, which even captivated great Western mentalities, as C.G. Jung- where we are taught, among other beautiful and invaluable lessons, to appreciate the value of things, always subject to the ineffable effect of opposites.
For this reason, as it is suggested and expressed in a summarized way, there is always a time for everything and it is always recommended, despite the redundancy, to enjoy it with the greatest passion and joy. Given that we are now in the middle of summer in Spain, it is an opportune moment to enjoy the joy of our towns and their captivating beauty and that no less charming and nutritious custom of the aperitif, ideal to be enjoyed in the best of company and in a key, also -of course, metaphorically speaking- to open the door to something as healthy as socialization, which gives us the opportunity to meet new people, with whom, moreover, enrich us, both spiritually and culturally.
Uno de los libros más sabios y por defecto, una joya que debería figurar en todo biblioteca que se precie, como una inconmensurable herencia de sabiduría, independientemente de cuales sean nuestras creencias religiosas, sin duda alguna, es el Eclesiastés, al que, metafóricamente hablando y por supuesto, salvado siempre las distancias, se le podría comparar con otras grandes joyas de la sabiduría y el pensamiento de todos los tiempos, como el Libro de las Mutaciones chino -texto y sistema de adivinación, que incluso cautivó a grandes mentalidades occidentales, como C.G. Jung- donde se nos enseña, entre otras hermosas e inapreciables lecciones, a apreciar el valor de las cosas, siempre sujetas al inefable efecto de los contrarios.
Por eso, como bien nos sugiere y expresado de manera resumida, siempre hay un tiempo para cada cosa y es siempre recomendable, valga la redundancia, disfrutarlo con la mayor pasión y alegría. Dado que ahora estamos en pleno verano en España, es un momento oportuno para disfrutar de la alegría de nuestros pueblos y su cautivadora belleza y de esa no menos encantadora y nutritiva costumbre del aperitivo, ideal para ser disfrutada en la mejor de las compañías y una llave, además -por supuesto, metafóricamente hablando- para abrir la puerta de algo tan sano como es la socialización, que nos brinda la oportunidad de conocer nuevas personas, con las que, además, enriquecernos, tanto espiritual como culturalmente.
