“After New Year's Holidays”

In Canada, people celebrate Christmas with family a lot but not on New Year’s much. Even though I live in Canada, I still can't forget Japanese New Year's traditions easily. After a few days off, I had to go back to a normal lifestyle quickly. However, my brain still needs to think about the holidays...
Anyway, our reality always pulls us back to its zone. I worked with children at school for a few days this week. My brain is finally backed to normal. All the children looked very energetic and happy. They were learning about the Australian fire issues. They are making a fundraiser this week and next week. I think all the children looked very serious about nature and animals after they learned about it.

“お正月休み。その後”

カナダではクリスマスを盛大に家族とお祝いしますが、お正月は特に盛大ではありません。カナダに住んでもなお、日本のお正月の伝統のことを簡単に忘れることはできません。数日間の休みの後、普通の暮らしにすぐ戻らなければなりませんでしたが、頭の中はまだ休んでいたいのです。
でもまあ、現実はいつも私たちを引き戻します。今週は小学校の仕事がありました。やっと私の頭は普通の暮らしに戻ったようです。子どもたちはみんな元気で楽しそうです。今日はオーストラリアの火事の件について学んでいました。今週と来週は、学校で寄付金を募っています。子どもたちはみんな真剣に自然や動物のことを考えていました。
