Sunday Post

in photography •  6 years ago

On my last travel, I tried to get as many photos as I could. We were moving fast and we didn't even try too much to find the popular and famous places and structures.

There is a lot of random shots and some of them were taken from the moving car.

We live in the Internet era where information is easily available. You can Google any building, bridge or monument and instantly get photos from professional photographers from the perfect angle with the perfect lighting.

I don't want you to think that I try to compete with those guys. I know my limits and my job is to present you the real stuff from the real life. No sugarcoating.

Today is Sunday and like kids, we use to go to the church. Everybody on Sunday went to church at that time.

I decided to show you some clicks from our trip on this topic.

A simple church from a tiny mountain village in Western Slovenia.

The bigger is the village, bigger is the church.

More the people are religious more beautiful is the church.

A bit different style on the French countryside.

The entrance of the same church.

I'm not sure about this one. It stands in Guell Park and looks like a church but with Gaudi, you never know and we didn't have a time for a closer look.

Somewhere in northern Italy.

It seems that the distance from the Vatican is important too.

Or maybe I'm wrong. This one looks much better and was not far from the previous one.

In touristic oriented cities, they know how to attract the visitors. Especially at night.

That's all for this week.

Yesterday and also today I had problems with commenting and voting. Steemit was acting weird and because I don't use bots I couldn't upvote your posts. It's soo frustrating and time-consuming.

Sorry.

I couldn't find any explanation and I'll wait for some news. Maybe our team of developers working on some issues. Will see.

Another week is gone. Have a good start of new one and keep on steeming.

Hello @oldtimer Wonderful photos, beautiful places, thanks to Steemit someday I will visit those places!

You always have a great selection when you pick a topic. I really like the French country church that looks like a water tank!

True. It is different than Italian ones.

Wonderful photos! I like seeing real photos by people I know. It's much better than looking at impersonal professional photos.

We're getting picky with time, for sure. Same here.

very good shots, lovely images of different churches very nice all

Although you are not a professional photographer, they are beautiful and the sites you visited are very nice, congratulations ... It's good to be able to see images of sites that we do not know thanks 😊

"More the people are religious more beautiful is the church" I agree.

Very nice photos indeed! Keep up the good job! Peace!

Nice photos.. Thumbs up

This takes precision, the second image be looking like the tower of london

Wow is a very nice and picturesque place! Reminds me of a place in my country called Colonia Tovar, for the structures of houses, churches and other buildings, excellent photos

You really try to get the most out of your vacation, do you actually keep these photos ?

Sure. They're very precious to me.

Ok, if I was taking photos from a moving car, i would probably took a shoot of the traffic light pillar. Your photos are static and representative for the moments you described. I like it!

nice architecture

An interesting selection of photographs @oldtimer.

The third one is definitely my favourite. 😊

So beautiful place dear

These photos still looks professional like those other ones on the internet. You brought it the way you saw it, they are really religious people seeing a lot of churches

I can't view the pictures where I'm at right now, but I will definatly come back later to take a look at them. Thrilled to see what the upcoming week will have in store for us.

Also hope that the issues you are experiencing will be fixed soon. I did not experience any problems myself so far, aside from upvotes sometimes taking a bit longer to process.

Impressive variations of church architecture.

Have a beautiful picture of your Sunday. All your posts are great.

First of all i want to appreciate your words about the issue which you are facing with Steemit and it's literally reflecting that, how responsible you feel towards supporting others, and it's kind gesture. And yes, no matter where an Church is situated and how it's looking the greatest thing is we get same peaceful essence everywhere and yes i agree with you, beautiful and natural view with church makes more amazing and soulful environment and that natural essence keep us so lively, and good to see that you always try to share your original pictures, because it needs effort to capture these pictures in a way that, it should look as sharable and all these pictures are really beautiful and amazing. Thanks for sharing this post with us and wishing you an great day. Stay blessed. 🙂

I'm not a particularly religious person - but I love history. I love all those European churches, especially the one that looks more monastic (you called it out as being different). I can only imagine what it must have been like to have these as the only tall buildings anywhere in the 1500-1800s.

Especially when comparing them to churches here in Alberta, hehe.

Great photos of some beautiful structures.

Beautiful photos. Love them all.

Wonderful pictures, you can see that you enjoy your art and your holidays .. the beautiful moments and places are kept in beautiful memories ..
I invite you to visit my profile, and give me your support .. Thank you.

Church edifices seemed they would last for centuries. Great photos to admire @oldtimer

Nice pics, you have a different look in a good way
