Here's how this works: I "spin" the wheel on my camera roll, so to speak. And blindly select a random picture when it stops.
There are some great things about living in SoCal. There's a reason it's so expensive. Most people seem to long for year-round sunny days and a temperate, weather-free existence.
I am not one of them.
I miss thunder and lightening. I miss raindrops lulling me to sleep. I miss missing sunny days. I even miss sleet and snow...for about two weeks during the holidays. I find the absence of seasons unsettling.
But every so often the Gods take pity on me and throw a storm into the mix. On those days, I grab a camera and head to the Pacific to reap my rewards.
Perhaps the scarcity of weather makes it that much more precious. Maybe I appreciate it more now because it's so rare. Maybe. But I'd like to go on record as saying I'd love some more chilly days, some more wind and gloom and precipitation. I'd like these things so that I can put that theory to the test.
Okay, I'll be honest: I'd really just like some more stormy weather.
