Photography or a image I feel often captures those treasured moments in ones life but I also find that just like the act of writing our collective pictures can also be an art-form. The beauty and meaning of photograph can be expressed and shared in many ways including "by not using any words".

While I do like photography I used to share images when I could that I captured day to day events, the feedback was mostly positive and I continued sharing these "Ulog type" photos.

Almost every picture as a story to tell, or at least that is what I have often been told by some of my regular followers when I first started sharing photos on here.
To those who have often said and expressed that to me I would have to agree with them.

We are close to Christmas and like promised I wanted to put something abit more like Christmas related when it came to sharing pictures on here, and for those who like the cat pictures, well you'll never guess what's sitting under the tree lol.

I went to sleep a little earlier than usual last night but not because I was trying to get extra sleep but because I made the critical mistake of picking up the phone after work kept calling me various times during my day off yesterday.
They wanted me in extra early and honestly when your not expecting this it means you got to prepare things for an earlier leave in the morning.

Like the other previous days a lack of sleep seems to provide me with more energy during most of the day, but surely this is not healthy lol.

As I made my way to work in the early dark morning it was bloody freezing, exactly what I expected and why I didn't want to get up so early.
Later the sun did come out so I know it would of been better arriving later or shall we say the original.
There was a ton of work for me to get on with when I got in which actually got me a little worried, but unlike my boss the superior who was in was actually helping me get the work done.
He was probably doing it because of being under staffed due to sickness but still I couldn't believe we managed to get everything done with nearly one hour yet to spare.
Just shows if my boss actually helped in the mornings things could be done with time to spare.

After work I contemplated getting that Christmas shopping finally done, but my friend yesterday gave me a great idea for some gifts which I can just order from a shop near me, so I'm thinking of doing that and hopefully finally having this Christmas shopping done.
In the end I went food shopping as I think I will just order the gifts from the shop, I noticed now since I spoke to a security guard there with some pleasantries the other day he now keeps coming up to me for chats lol.
I don't mind sometimes, but on most occasions I just want to get on with my shopping and leave as I have other things I need to get done.

The return home as expected sun was out and while still cold it was not freezing like in the early morning, as for steps I hit a combined total of 47k out of the 105k weekly target which puts me 28k behind for this week, the dam app stopped recording steps again today, I think one time may have been my fault there seems to be a button that triggers it to stop when it shouldn't but later in the day it happened again for no reason.

Anyway as for the picture today I share one of a black and white windowed Christmas tree, without colour I feel it brings out the sadder part of Christmas, perhaps a loss of loved ones or general misery of loneliness during a jolly period.
I think the almost shining white light from the snow's reflection from the outside adds to the grim feeling.
I know that many hate Christmas but I love it, not for the reason most people would probably think and I believe many of those who do hate Christmas it's because of all the stress it brings, for us we remove all that stress so that we can enjoy and concentrate on what's most important, which is putting up decorations together as a family or with friends and spending time with each other, apart from that nothing else matters that's includes gifts they are a very low priority.
