There are movements happening, there are signs everywhere. Has anyone noticed the little changes, the glitches in the matrix? For the last couple of days the Rewards tab showing curation/author rewards has been returning false information, numbers much lower than they should be. There have been auto-hide filters applied to memos from accounts deemed harmful but, blink and they are gone. Testing.
I like these times. I like the guessing at what could be travelling along the pipelines and I like thinking what it could mean for the future of the platform, what it might mean for my future on the platform. All changes have consequences and will spider out into the space to put pressures on all other things they touch. The repercussions are unsure but, the reverberations are often the same.
Changes imposed are often followed by a deluge of complaints as some deem themselves harmed or judge the gain of others as too high. How long the disruption freezes a person depends as some learn what has changed and immediately start exploring whilst others dwell in what they have decided was a loss. How do they know before understanding the shift?
Why not explore first and then make up the mind rather than make up the mind based on the limited information of what is already known? This is the problem with using intuition as it is not a look into the future, it is a memory of the past and when it looks at something it has no experience of, it will become scared and say no.
How many times have we said no to something only to find that perhaps we were too hasty, too quick to condemn and dismiss, how many times must we watch the early adopters try fast and fail early, learn and try again? Perhaps it is time I adopt early, move quickly, benefit while others are frozen?
I do not know if I have what it takes to do this or, if I need someone to make the first move but, I am watching the matrix glitch and I am preparing myself to learn and fail fast. I have been frozen too many times before but there is stillness now, instead of rest, I am stretching my muscles, warming up to take the leap.
Taking that step in itself will provide a victory, one over the self.

First of all, let me start by saying that the pictures used above are really heartwarming. When you talked about the concept of travelling in along a pipeline, I was really matching it with the beautiful view of the pictures.
Now back to my point of interest...
I have personally been a victim of this, they were things I said no to in my life of which I shouldn't have in the first place. Sometimes, we say no because we don't want to take risks, we say no other times because we can't even analyze the risks and other times we say no because we feel it will make become a genius or great as people find it difficult to say "no" in most instances.
However, it is very pertinent to say no when necessary and to say yes when needful. What is really important, is carefully analyzing and knowing what to say no or yes to per time.
