A Hopeless Fate ~ Original Poetry

I'll never live your future,
I'll never know your past
I'll only see the riddle
In the shadow that it casts

And we'll never find the truth
Forgotten amidst the stars
And we'll never find the answers
For our souls won't bid that far

Now in this cloud of darkness
Is that where my fate lies?
Swallowed by this murky cloud?
Hidden by each cry?

The answers to my questions
seems hidden in this sea
And that little boat besides the wave
That little boat is me
