The following poem is missing the last word on each line, but if you read through it I think you'll find it fairly easy to fill-in the blanks! Why not give it a try?

Come and spend some time with ___,
Let's have some fun and try to ___,
Just what we find when looking ___,
The word to end the line ___!

For each line needs that single ___,
That most befits the one last ___,
And sounds complete to listening ___,
That anticipates what it will ___!

Do you feel the tension build and ___,
As you think about the lines ___,
So close at hand, so nearly ___,
You need them like your lungs need ___!

And here they are, the last few ___,
Found when you followed all the ___,
So hopefully you took the ___,
To complete this little ___!

If you really feel you must you can just listen to the recitation. Or, continue scrolling down the page and you'll see a list of the missing words. Cheers! :)

By the way, your idea is just awesome!

Ha-Ha, well, thank you! Glad you had some fun with it.

The idea of missing last word was great. I did a little. Anyway, the poem was fantastic!

I am glad you liked it, @preety. Thanks for taking the time to give it a try!

I did get most of them but it was nice still even having them missing. It built up a strange anticipation.

Cool! I'm happy you gave it a shot, P. Thank you.

Great idea @bhmcintosh and your poem is always good.

Thank you very much!
