LOVING YOU

Loving you was like a living battlefield,
where words were meant to undress me,
and hands were meant to scar me.
Every "hello meant "come here"
and every "I love you" meant "don't go

Loving you was like drinking absinthe on
fire,
And although the burn would open
wounds,
I would find pleasure in that hurt.
Every sip -a step closer to the infinite,
Where there is no place for lies and
betraying.

Loving you was like every sin of mine,
coming closer,
Dressed like everything I loved and
desired
It was broken spirit and missing heart.
It was madness and then silent
emptiness.

Loving you was like a war,
in which I was dragged,
and I never came home the same.
