CHECKOUT POINT -Poem

When you reached the checkout point
and everything is left behind,
no faults, wonders, doubts or what ifs,
you gave up glamour, thrills and butterflies,
you lost fear, shadows and regrets,
cause somewhere on your twisted path,
long time ago, you learnt the hard way
that the right choice was less
than you'd regularly settle for
and still that little meant the world to you,
when you tucked your demons into bed
and solved all the pieces of the puzzle,
then you could say you have loved,
my little lovey dovey buff.
