awe and trepidation
fight each other
to counsel me
but both advise to view
what i spy with my little eye
through a lens of harsh light
that chases away the
fog and film that hide
impurities
lest i be led astray
bamboozled by the beauty
of a prize
i can never win

These wordings are so deep. What could he/she have spied with his/her tiny eyes enough to allow awe and trepidation to be giving counsel. Perhaps there should be verse 2 or more to this @sumayyahsaidso because there were so many unanswered question in this or you purposely made it so.
