To run away for just a small while.
To a castle far away,
dance and sing and smile.
Can I dream like
Cinderella?
Arriving at the castle in grandiose style.
Hearing the music notes sing.
Enjoy the melody even if for a short while.
To meet a Prince Charming.
Waltz with him at the ball.
To dance,let our eyes meet like
there’s no one here at all.
Meet in the garden
for a clandestine dance.
To remember everymoment.
To talk with him every minute I have the chance.
It’s not much,
but is an epitome of my dreams.
It’s not a statement, I want to justify the means.
If I get to be Cinderella,
for just a small while
It would mean the world.
My perseverance was all worthwhile.
