Should Members of Congress Carry Guns?

in politics •  8 years ago

Is the purpose of your post just to send traffic to Bloomberg? If not, the purpose of your post is obscure. Guns, shooters, and gun control issues are always polarizing and "hot" topics and not having a clear statement of intent is a bit like throwing a bone into the middle of a pack of hungry dogs. It will results in lots of fights, lots of chaos, and very little positive outcome.

It's not really up to the general public to decide whether or not any given member of congress should, or should not, carry a weapon. That's a personal decision to be made by each individual. Any idea that people should decide how best to protect themselves based on mass opinion is ridiculous.

I feel like I'm responding to a troll post but decided to give it the benefit-of-the-doubt. It isn't clear what you hope to accomplish with your post other than to initiate a never-to-be-won war of words, beliefs, and opinions.
