This "both sides are the same" argument is so tired and obviously wrong considering our current administration and its GOP enablers.

No it's not wrong. Look back at the history of each american president, you'll see they all perpetuate the same things: wars, corporate handouts, foreign fears (anti-Russia, anti-China rhetoric), more poverty, etc. They may change a few things on the surface to give the illusion of change, but deep down it's always been the status quo.
