The Classic AR argument

It is fun listening to people complain about how dangerous ARs are. Its also fun listening to people not knowing what they are talking about complain about FULLY SEMI AUTOMATIC. What does that mean?? Any rifle on the market has a stock kit that will make it a little more tactical. That is the part that scares people. They need to learn the difference between tactical and assault. I understand with some people about what makes sense for home defense, but a persons reasoning for owning any gun is their own business. If making certain weapons illegal will take them off the streets, then we should make drugs illegal. People get scared because the media makes it out to be way worse than what it is. Instead of bashing on people and trying to make all these laws we need to go back to the basics and start training people. Fear and ignorance should no longer be good excuses . I am curious to know what peoples thoughts are on ARs. Good? Bad? and reasons why
