Audience members should have the right to hear the speaker they came to listen to. Yes.
Protesters should have the right to drown out a speaker they disagree with. No.
So maybe protesters should be given the first five minutes of a scheduled lecture to shout out their objections to the speaker.
Then they should sit down, be quiet, and listen to the speaker, or be escorted out of the building.
If they continue to shout and attempt to disrupt the assembly from inside or outside the meeting room or from outside the building, they should be arrested for disturbing the peace.
It shouldn't matter what the protesters are protesting, or whether they are from the political Left or from the political Right.
Freedom of speech does not mean -- and has never meant -- that anyone can say anything, anywhere, anytime they feel like it.
