Some Days The Words Flow -

in post •  7 years ago

Some days I have so much to say, I can't wait to make a post.  Sometimes, the words flow  too much and I create a rambling mess of a post.   If you follow me you are likely aware of how consistently inconsistent I am.

Today, I've found that I have no flow.

So this is the part that I just start typing and we see what we get.

Many are guessing the crypto space is dead or at least going to be slow.

Our stats still look fine to me.

The prices will either rise or fall or go sideways.

The blockchain moves forward every 3 seconds or so.

Some people are either happy or sad.

It's not my job to fix it.

If you put them in a new environment they will still be happy or sad.

I love the freedom of knowing my stake is my stake, what isn't mine I can't control.

I'm starting to understand and embrace "Code is Law".

It gives me boundaries, but not a ruler.

I'm actively working on tolerance, not looking outside of myself for someone to fix things, and owning what I own.

I really am enjoying that process.

Random thoughts..

Amazing what random thoughts can come up with. I'm not sure whether to thank you for them or not though, because now my brain has gone into ponder mode! Particularly on this one:

It gives me boundaries, but not a ruler.

Now pondering the difference between boundaries and rulers...

I've found that trying to control the faucet never really works. I too have days where words just burst from my mind, waiting to get put down on paper.

Other days I struggle to put together coherent thoughts. Fortunately, I have created a solid repository of blog posts so that on those off days I can pull one from the vault and keep my quality high.

Glad to know there are others like me.

Autually it's more like a poem than random thoughts.

Some days are random, some days are not.

Today, my "intended" post found a "shiny object" in the street and got sidetracked into a free form ramble.

Oddly enough, I think we might be tuned into the same Interstellar ESP channel or something... I felt the urge to ramble about all the "end of the world" thinking, on Steemit, in cryptos. ENOUGH, already...

There's really not much that needs to be "fixed."

Haha, Yesterday or the day before, when I read your post, it occurred to me you must be reading my mind!.

Funny, I'm starting to see many of us who have been practicing this for a while, start to settle in and enjoy the process.

It has been a while since I last took up a new blog or social media account... and what you say brings something to mind; an old memory:

You spend a certain amount of time "getting the lay of the land," and building your style... and there's a gentle drift from "posting to impress" (or gain readers) to simply expressing your voice authentically.

I look at my posts from early last year and they all read far more like "magazine articles" then the free-form rambles I mostly do now. And I watch you and a number of others settle into similar patterns... it becomes a form of "hanging out" where we start just shooting ideas back and forth with the friends we've made.

I find that still read/curate a lot of stuff, but there's a core group of some 20-25 people I keep returning to.

That is a great observation. I agree, I do enjoy those who are just communicating more than the "polished article" style.

In addition to what you said, I find that I am for the first time getting to practice being frustrated with something, realize there isn't an avenue to "fix" it. So, once I accept it is out of my control it just doesn't bother me anymore.

Amazing how you and Feju make the same comments on so many posts and always upvote each other.

"Sometimes, the words flow too much and I create a rambling mess of a post." Haha I feel your pain there.

"I love the freedom of knowing my stake is my stake, what isn't mine I can't control." That is a good way to look at it. It doesn't do any good to stress over the things that we can't change. It uses a bunch of energy and leaves us feeling worse with nothing to show for our trouble.

I have been notoriously bad at planning anything regarding this platform.

Everything I have written or created has been pretty much what has been on my mind at the time or seemed to make sense to me. We are never able to be in full control on what happens in life, but I like to have a firm grasp on the aspects that I can control while wanting to be adaptable enough to deal with the rest.

Somewhere between being water and an iceblock, I guess.

Wasn't going to do one tonight and ended up with 2 and maybe still do one more before bed. The words do just flow. The payouts are so low that you just have to post a few extra. It will turn back again so just keep looking forward and staying positive.

If you put them in a new environment they will still be happy or sad.

You didn't mention my emotion which is meh

yup @whatsup its not anyone job to fix everyone's sadness and happiness ,they have to fix it themselves! you have said great lines😇

Heavy rain outside the window and the sun shines brightly. I like this weather.

I think everyone writing a blog can identify with this. And, sometimes, the way to fix it IS to start typing and see what comes out. lol

What do you mean by "Code is Law?"

The best part of this might be the "random picture from pixabay." hahaha
Fits the post perfectly.

I think, we all go through this. Sometimes I have many things to write about and then there are days, I just don't know what to write and I don't like those days.
But I love posts on just peoples thoughts and what comes from their hearts. I think you get to know more about who these people really are and nothing is more interesting then when people talk from their hearts.

True words, we can control ourselves and the aspects which are not under control of ourselves then it's better to shift the focus and do what you like. No matter what, in every work we will get both impressive and depressive aspects and it's about us how well we are handling it.

Yes, Market is Red but is in life everything is fine, No, so don't expect perfection when nothing is perfect and everything is dynamic and it's upon us to become dynamic and to expand in our life.

Today we are facing tough times but remember those days when everyone enjoyed the profits and really appreciated Steem but if you are facing Red Market now you are finding out the loop holes. Let's concentrate on aspect of our work because at last we can control our actions.

Thanks for sharing this post with us and wishing you an great day. Stay blessed. 🙂

I've said before the low price is good for new accounts like mine, so I'm not complaining.

yes, I agree with the post. @whatsup you are right.

You are really so great post@whatsup sir.
Upvote done sir.

Everything in life is a constant movement.

It is never static, there are high and low tides.

Every beginning has a process of transformation, there is trial and error, some things seem perfect but there comes a time when it must be changed.

The changes can cause damage or wait for the movement to flow so that everything circulates and returns to its cause.

It can be for the better, that is everyone's hope.

If the decline were very strong and will disappear completely, there would be sad for everyone.

Patience and tolerance are our best friends right now.

hahah same for me but sometimes i cant explain in words what i have to say .. you know sometimes words cant describe feelings .. 😊
