Steemit Coffee Meetup March

Whole Foods Market, High Street Kensington

▶ We couldn't do it last month due to many reasons, but it happened this month - the London working/coffee Steemit meetup.

It was a cold but sunny day in London, however we were indoors for most of it. The venue was upstairs at the Whole Foods Market where there is a variety of food stalls and a café. We love this venue because of the ample seating space for everyone and their tolerance of our being there the entire day. Most diet types are also catered for, which is a bonus.

Punctual as usual were @gillianpearce and I. Only five minutes behind us was @ultravioletmag. We were also joined by two gentlemen, both called "Ben" who are not yet active on Steemit, but were very eager to learn as much as they could. It was quite a pleasure to impart some of my knowledge on them, while learning a lot from them myself.

We talked about the Steem ecosystem, Steem Backed Dollar, Steem Power and SMTs. It was all fun and games.

It was really nice to see @redrica and @immarojas again. Awesome conversations and exchange of ideas always happen with these two. In fact, I got an incredible idea that I will now be planning out in the coming weeks. I managed a quick chat with @jayread, which was great too. Finally, it was so cool to meet @rod.crisafulli for the first time in real life. I'd seen him on the live stream of @allasyummfood 's London Steemit Meetup last month.

Talking of yummy food, I had a burrito and a black coffee. The burrito was way larger than usual. I'm not sure if that was the normal portion, or the nice lady that served me was being nice to me.

Lovely to see you yesterday. I t was good to have a bit of a laugh about all the Steemit shaningans. I needed that! 😍

:) You need to kick one off in your city. It's so fun and it really raises your spirits man. I think you might be right about the burrito :D I hadn't eaten all day at that point.

are you London based ?

Unfortunately not. I’m from Germany but I have plans to travel to England this summer. Maybe there will be another meet-up at that time who knows ;)
