Making Steemit Known To Others Through Fliers Distribution.

We mention Steemit and to make others to know about this platform, we go ahead by defining Steemit which can not be done without adding the word social. Social in a sense that, one need people on this media platform. And no one can do on this platform without people as it is a hallmark of every other society.

To pursue this, we realized the most important thing on this platform is survival. Your ability to remain active, blog and earn on here is your survival. And this is only possible when you have people around. A community needs to be built then.

The purpose of this community would be like a shield around you. The stronger the shield, the firmness the community. This is mostly used in war. But on steemit, the stronger your community and I mean those around you who vote and comment on your posts, the higher your earns, zeal and the more your passion to blog. This a sincere statement.

To strengthen our shield which is this wonderful community, we took it upon ourselves to go to the students to spread Steemit. This was done in the University for Development Studies, as we moved out in our numbers after lectures, to share Steemit fliers.

In every project, there are challenges. However, some school of thought argues that once the project is successful, the doctrine challenge becomes annulled. Be that as it may, I would like to share some few experiences encountered:

  1. In every second trimester, the University conducts SRC/NUGs elections. This trimester is actually the period. Campaigning is therefore ongoing at every corner of the school. But it appears most students have lost interest in the student leadership. This makes it difficult when talking to the students because their first instincts are the hungry power politicians are here again and right away develop an apathy for you. Their first looks are scaring, I must say.

  2. Many have little knowledge on cryptocurrencies even though they have heard about them. Some do not like cryptos because they do not understand the source of these money, revealed upon my interview with some. Hence such people prematurely end your interaction. It takes courage and self motivation to proceed such an exercise.

Beside the challenges, there was one enthusiastic thing which moved us. The fact that we knew what we had which is nothing but steemit and what we were given out. That is; when you know what you want, you do not rash neither do you rush. This encouraged us to move on. In fact we fell in love more with what we were doing because Steemit was new to most people. This made us decided to reach out to as many as possible. Some did instant registration and were waiting for approval. Yesterday however, I received an image on WhatsApp from one brother whose account has been approved. Asking what's next after his account has been successfully approved.

Below is the joy of the team while we carry out the exercise.
