Harvesting Wild Coconuts & Fresh Coconut Water

I love coconuts and they are also one of the healthiest foods in the world.

Thanks to nature they grow almost everywhere and very abundantly in the tropics.

All I have to do is look up and one tree will likely have 20-30 coconuts!

I am sure everyone has heard of coconut oil and coconut water which is all the health rage this decade.

Well that all comes from these living trees made from rain and sand!

This again is a prime example of the healthy, sustainable abundance of nature!

Of course the harvesting takes some skill and work.

It also takes some skill and work to get that life water and rich meat.

After getting the coconuts use a machete or big knife to chop the husk off just barely to expose the white.

Then pokes hole in it and either just drink it from the hole or pour it through a strainer into a jug.

We are harvesting 25 nuts so a lot more than we can drink inone sitting.

So we pour them into jugs and put in the fridge.

We harvested about 3 gallons in a couple hours of work. That’s a couple hundred dollars worth in a health food store!

Plus we use no machines, packaging, shipping, fuel, or preservatives of any kind.

Coconut water is maybe the healthiest drink on earth and oh so good!

Nature provides everything we need. Respect and honor it. It shall provide.
