Middle of the Earth; Quito, Ecuador

It was my business trip and I think three times of visit to Quito.
At first it was kind of nervous to go somewhere I do not know. However, it turned into joyful stay.
Before departing, I google the country and found something nice and good to see or enjoy.
I am not sure many people know the equator of the earth pass through Quito in Ecuador.

Actually there are two places for equator line but this would be the right one. But just beside you will find another place for same subject. I think I heard it was built much long times ago. But if we see, it seems new. It might be new renovated.
If someone know exactly, please correct me.

You could try egg stand on nail head. Not much people success though.

Also, you could visit extinct volcano which people living on the place.
It was my first time visit for volcano and I heard there are many active volcano in Ecuador.
The place was very peaceful and look nice.

Thanks to business customer, I went to very nice area. It was marvelous night view I never seen before.
There is famous statue called "Angel". Just below the hill there is one restaurant you could see the fantastic night view.


Isn't it great? I visited not much countries but this was my best view ever seen before. At that time, my camera battery was gone. Unfortunately I just could take by mobile which was not good enough to have the view.


Also if we go out of country, we need to consider how the food was. Guess what, for me as a Korean it was suitable enough to enjoy.

Steak will be most enjoyable menu if you not vegetarian. Also kind of local salad and side dishes was very nice.

Even dessert was brilliant. I noted Ecuador is famous for chocolate and original cacao.
