On Wednesday I played drums again with my band.
The specialist confirmed my assumptions, that a long-term effort of low intensity (playing the drums) does not burn fat, because the heart rate is too low.
The only way to burn fat is heavy, high-intensity training -
and that is what I will do in this month, same as the month before.
A strong beginning of training caused that my heart rate at the beginning jumped up to 180 (previously I did not have so high). After 30 minutes a crisis came, my legs became like cotton wool, and I ran out of energy. I survived this crisis, and it has been good after. The slowdown of the heart rate around 40 minutes was due to drinking water.
Well, my gym is not air-conditioned, and it's very warm outside, so the temperature inside was not very pleasant ;)
Before starting the workout, the heart rate was calm - 63 beats per minute.
In the picture of the graph (above) you can see how the heartbeat moved up after the start of training, and it is not surprising, because at the beginning I had a lot of energy, so I started quick.
I chose my favorite training program, with load level 5.
I burned 810 kcal within an hour of training. An interesting fact is the highest obtained heart rate - it was at the level of 180
The most important thing for me is to stay as long as possible in the fat burning zone - this time it was 79% of the time spent on training, but I touched the anaerobic range for the first time - 1%
Today, right after work, I am leaving for the weekend, but it will be an active weekend as I have planned trekking and visiting the castle on Saturday.
