Number 89: Home-Cooked Prawns Biryani

Today I learnt how to make this delicious biryani from a friend of mine. Although it took time and effort to prepare, the taste was worth the wait!

For those of you who don''t know what biryani is; it's an Indian dish made with fabublously seasoned rice and meat, fish, or vegetables. In this recipe, @hungry-nomad used prawns. Doesn't it look DELICIOUS!

Fruits & Veggies Monday: Plant-Based BBQ Feast- Strawberry BBQ Sauce, Potato Salad, Squash & Chard

Though the official start of summer is still a month away, here in the Southern USA the pools are already opening and everyone has dusted off the grills to take advantage of the season. One of my favorite summer weekend activities is to hang out with friends by the pool during the day then enjoy a meal together in the evening. Though many people associate summer grilling and barbecues with meat, I think these dishes will show you that vegetables can be the star of the meal

OMGosh!!! Strawberry BBQ Sauce!!! GET OUT! That homemade condiment makes me want to haul out the BBQ and smoker and get some meat cooking so I can slather this sauce ALL over!

Ulog 10- Binahog- Filipino Food

Binahog is one of Rizalinian's favorite at Tanay Rizal. A bowl of a scoop of rice and mix dish. This time I cooked pork nilaga for lunch, and this is one of my favorite dish especially the soup and vegetables. This is one of the best you can order at some restaurant at Tanay Rizal, it is cheaper than the regular price of rice and dish

This appears to be a favorite in the @sweetcha house! But what's not to love? Look at that plateful of food and rice!

Daily Food Photography: Takoyaki

We have been craving for some Japanese food recently. With food constantly crossing our minds today, we would like to share with you a well-known Japanese snack called 'Takoyaki'. For those of you who don't know what takoyaki is, it is a flour based ball filled with diced octopus, tempura flakes, green onion and sometimes ginger. The sauce on the top is takoyaki sauce with dried bonito shavings on the top. Best eaten while it's hot!

I don;t believe anyone would go wrong with enjoying this snack and appetizer. I am imagining the tang from the ginger! Can you say “yummy”!

Fish Sarciado: Healthy And Tasty Filipino Dish

A simple, tasty and healthy dish that I made from last nights dinner.
"Fish Sarciado" or " Sarciadong Isda" in Tagalog is a fried fish with a sauce made up of onions, tomatoes and eggs. I used mackerel this time because that's all I can find in the shop. But if I'm in the Philippines I prefer Tilapia... we usually make sarciado whenever we have leftover fried fish and turn into a new dish the next day. In that way, it not go to waste

Oh so healthy! This definitely looks like a dish that anyone can enjoy!
