well I'm well aware of copyright infringement, I don't think it's polite to just go around assuming people are copy pasting articles. Perhaps the more respectful thing to do would be to inquire "I noticed this article was posted here as well, did you create this content?"

I can understand being frustrated. I wouldn't flag someone without making sure first. I just posted to let you know that is was copy/pasted, its your own work so no harm no foul. If it was the other way around and someone stole your article and posted it here trying to make a buck off it, wouldn't you want someone to mention to anyone voting that it might not be legit?
