Superconductive materials could significantly increase the output and effectivity of wind power plants. The first tests with the superconductive generator of the EcoSwing consortium at the coast of Denmark went quite well.

EcoSwing Consortium is a team of experts from European corporations and universities. They are developing and testing a breakthrough wind turbine that user superconductors to make energy. Their project is focused on real results and wide usability of the technology.
The EcoSwing team performed tests of the wind turbine with superconductors in Denmark where the turbine with a 3.6 MW output rotated for seven months. The goal was to check the technical readiness of the technology. And it seems that it went very well.
Superconductive technologies still require very low temperatures to work in a lot of cases. The EcoSwing turbine uses “high-temperature” that remain superconductive at temperatures high above absolute zero. But still, it is way below room temperature. Inside the generator, you can find forty coils made from a superconductive material that is placed in a cryogenic – or deep-frozen environment.
When the wind is blowing the rotor of the wind turbine creates massive amounts of energy. The wind turbine with superconductors takes the wind energy and sends it into the electrical grid much more effectively and there is much less energy lost along the way.
The use of superconductive materials allows the wind turbine to be much smaller making the construction easier and improves the output of the turbine at the same time. And the rotor can be large as the superconductive generator is capable of handling a higher amount of energy.

Thanks, man, I wanted to ask, is there a way to regain access to the tipu curator list? I promise I will not abuse it anymore :)
