Steem Fantasy Premier League - Gameweek 8 Preview and Match Prediction Game

Liverpool - Manchester United

So far, United have not met a single team from the upper half of the league. They have played Stoke and Southampton away which is as close as it gets. Drawing against Stoke and a narrow win against Southampton. We are yet to see how they will perform against the top 8 clubs, and we will see this now! Without both Pogba and Fellaini, United will miss some strength in the midfield. Liverpool is expected to play Wijnaldum, Henderson and Can which might be too much for little Herrera. Also, Phil Jones is a doubt for this game, making Smalling likely to play. Jones has been one of the best for United this season and that would be another huge blow. Maybe not such a huge blow compared to Liverpool missing Mané. Liverpool without Mané who by far has been their greatest player this season will no doubt enhance the chances for United. Other than that Liverpool looks to play with their best 11 men, and as we know Kloop is one of the greatest managers in the world in these big games, but so is Mourinho. I expect a match, where both teams will take no chances defensively and therefore we might see a draw which both teams probably will be satisfied with. My guess is 1-1.

Crystal Palace - Chelsea

This is an interesting match because of many factors. Crystal Palace is yet to win or draw a game in this season, but at the same time, they are also yet to score a single goal. Last time something like that happened the team got relegated. Still, there are only 6 points to avoid relegation due to other teams bad performances. Imagine to not have scored a single goal and then have to play against Chelsea. Nightmare! But! Wilfried Zaha is back! I don't think he will completely change the team, but it sure will help. I think Crystal Palace actually will be satisfied just to score a goal, and he might be the man to kick start it. Another interesting factor is the injury of Morata. Morata will not play, which means Batshuayi will start. A lot of value in him against a horrible Crystal Palace. Not to mention the massive value in any defensive Chelsea player. The last interesting thing is the return of Hazard in the starting eleven. Hazard is back, and now may be the time to buy him for your fantasy team. Hazard is a world-class player, and what a time for him to have his come back. I expect Hazard to have a decent game, Chelsea to dominate, and Crystal Palace not to score even though the return of Zaha. I predict 0-2.

Tottenham - Bournemouth

As mentioned in the beginning Tottenham is one of the worst teams to play at home this season. That is probably due to them playing at Wembley which is a lot bigger than White Hart Lane. Yet this might be a perfect match to get going at home because Bournemouth is one of the worst teams to play away. It is, though, important to mention they have met a lot of teams in top 6. Bournemouth has played only one great game this season, which was the last match against Leicester where they played like last season, but still didn't manage to win. I don't think this game will be their second great game. Tottenham is simply too strong, Harry Kane is scoring goals when he wants to and as a Dane I can tell you that Eriksen looks to be playing his greatest season ever. I predict Tottenham to win at home, with Kane scoring two goals. I also expect Tottenham to keep a clean sheet. I predict 3-0
