This is a map of Coinstar machines that allow you to buy bitcoin. Although a machine scammed me for 10 dollars worth of bitcoin d gave me a voucher that never paid any btc, I know it must have been an error due to me waiting a month to redeem my voucher however, they clearly wrote "DOES NOT EXPIRE" AND CLEARLY stated I could wait as long as I wanted to redeem. I believe they are simply operating a shitty system and they should be shut down but I am confident they will get better customer service once the bull run kicks in on TV and shows... they just need some customer service people to take care of situations like this where someone pays cash and is unable to get their btc... its fraud and theft and I will report them as having scammed be to the aproptiate federal regulatory agencies, but I know it wont effect them untill more of us report them.
WARNING do not use these coinstar machines untill they fix the problem with withdraws. But as a last resort to buy BTC I suppose it will do for people late to the party. I can just see it now, a line of people waiting to buy 50,000 btc and then having to wait to scan their ID at home and shit... waiting days just to get the bitcoin they already paid cash for.... We need to depend on decentralized bitcoin ATMs that dont scan ID like the @coinflip machines which work great
But if these are fixed and get new customer service, these machines could service millions of Americans who will want to buy btc with the change from their groceries since these machines are at grocery stores... and the gift card machines will probably have to start selling gift cards for the grocery store in bitcoin, or you can do it on your phone with Gyft app which let's you convert bitcoin into gift card for Any store
