Lately, well, since right before I began my Steemit account, I haven't been getting quite enough sleep! For one reason or another, things have been very unstable in my routine. I do live in my own place when I'm in another province... but since I've come home to my mom's to be present and offer some emotional, physical and spiritual support to her and my grandmother, I've found myself living under her roof and her routine. This means that my living environment is often stressful because I am always surprised by different obligations or by needing to conform to my mothers rules...

I'm fairly flexible, and I can be civil, respectful and understanding, BUT I WANT TO BE IN MY OWN SPACE!!!!!!! Feeling independent comes with taking responsibility, and leaving the "mother's nest". I'm challenged with finding a reasonable balance between accepting were I am and finding my way to where I would like to be.

We all die someday, so I have to buck up and keep on keeping on. That's why I'm here doing what I'm doing and winging it cause I can only do the best to my ability!

I need 7 hours. I used to need 6.5 hours. Before that 5.5-6 was okay. In my earlier years I did not give enough credibility to the importance of sleep. I do have trouble 1 or 2 times a week where I wake up at 2 or 3 am to use the restroom and then can't get back to sleep. Hate those nights. Getting up at the same time and going to bed at the same time is very important. Check out these 33 tips to a good nights sleep. Where you live do you have to endure the time change for daylight savings time? The spring ahead is very upsetting to our circadian rhythms.

Yes, the time change here and the lack of daylight in the winter time is brutal on everybody! Many people find the ability to adapt, but it mostly always requires an effort to adjust the body clock. Thanks for taking the time to share, I really appreciate your input!

You are welcome, ma'am!
