It is possible to be gravely skeptical about the wisdom of government land redistribution even without being a racist.
Land redistribution tends strongly to cause economic collapse even when one ethnic group does it substantially to itself, as China did under Mao.
And the closest parallel to land redistribution in South Africa is the nearby former colony of Zimbabwe. We all know how that turned out -- cronyism and starvation.
But from reading the Washington Post, one might never guess that caution or skepticism about land seizure is even a thinkable opinion. You're either warmly in favour of state land seizure... or you're a racist.
And a nice one

It's a bit off to hastily to predict imminent doom and gloom, and draw direct parallel to Zimbabwe in the SA expropriation debate. Also, I find it a comical that renowned proponents of nationalism are the most butthurt as the southern African government seek to reclaim its own land. It speaks a lot of the much talked about sense of entitlement of some. I digressed.
Glad you raised the discussion here. Personally I'm following the development and I'll make remarks as I establish a more educated position.

From what I hear the white farmer death rate is at 20 year low , having said that , high murder rate is a problem by itself for average South African ( black or white)
