The most spiritual part of life is the physical aspect of life.

The more we focus on working on ourselves, on how we deal with one another, how we treat our kids, how we focus on the work we do, we become more present. presence is the way to experience ONENESS. In short, the only way out is through.

It is important to mention that there are quite a lot of people that deem themselves spiritual and they cannot seem to find and/or keep a job. They claim working for money is not spiritual and it is dirty. I am here to say the complete opposite. It is of paramount importance to understand that we are here in this realm to master it and not to shy away from it. Being really in this world but not of it means that we will do our best and we will not be attached to the result. We will experience disease, loss, suffering, etc. but those things are just the background of life... the norm. In other words, LIFE IS SUFFERING.

So, what are you going to do about it?

Follow your purpose! If you have not found it, look for it. I will give you a hint: what ever you do for fun can be turned around into a career that will make you money, will make you feel fulfilled, and satiate a need in the community..

I will give you an example:

We unschool... the way I like to define that is, we throw books at them, and see what sticks. Then, we push on that.

Back to the story, my son has a hard time wanting to learn any academic stuff and as a total geek myself, it drove me nuts. I asked him what he wanted to focus his time and energy on and his reply was "just video games."
Mind you, I love video games, so this is not something I would be against. Yet, as a father it is my duty to equip this little piece of traveling joy and dirt with as many tools as I possibly can to set him off to be an asset in the world for his own sake and the world's sake.

Suddenly, I thought about Tantra and their main teaching: "Reject nothing!"

What came to mind was to find an online training platform where he could code his own games and play them! I proposed the idea to him and within two days he had made one game and it was actually good! Can you imagine the potential of an 8 year old kid starting to code his own games?!

As we reflect on the idea of spirituality, the first thing that comes to mind is service to others. If we extend our service to others, we need to keep in mind that we need to offer what they want and not just what we think they want because of our biases or quasi-spiritual gains. People what what they want and they do not want what they do not want...

I am willing to even say that the lady that slices the cheese at Whole Foods is doing a mighty spiritual job when she is present with me more so than some of my ULTRA SPIRITUAL friends who will not do work other than "healing work." You see, if the cheese lady is present in her work and experiencing the state of FLOW, she is connecting with the divine in her and therefore making that activity divine.

When we enter in the state of FLOW, we are doing spiritual work... whether we are exchanging the trash liners, sweeping, talking to the President of a big corporation, or just playing with our kids. This work can indeed lead to moments of enligthenment and it pushes people to raise their awareness and frequency. And this, in turn, makes a better world!

This is one of the reasons why I absolutely believe business is an agent of good and it uplifts us as humans.

This is the reason why I KNOW the most spiritual part of life is the physical aspect of life.

Buddha wandered for years, following different spiritual masters who were using various techniques for liberation. He pursued 8 different schools of enlightenment with no success. At one point he had become a Samana and a strict one. He did not eat for weeks and was only bones and skin; he was about to starve himself to death when he wondered, "What is it that I am striving for by running from one school to another? This life is all I have and I can work with."

Finally, he realized that everything that he was looking for is within him. That night, he attained enlightenment under the now famous Bodhi tree in India. Thus, if you want to be spiritual, live in the present moment, try to understand the body by keeping the chattering of the mind in check. Our physical body in the present moment is the key to liberation.

i absolutely love this. thank you <3

Yes! What I've noticed amongst the "ultraspiritual" is a rejection of many aspects of the material. In my opinion, being in our bodies is one of the most powerful ways we can practice being present, which i consider a cornerstone of spirituality.

Loved the tantra reject nothing.

Yours is a perfect example of saying that any problem is a disguised way for a better solution in life.

I think that your son has found the solution and the purpose in his life and now he is ready to provide this world with something better throughout his life.

If the world can live this way, follow their dreams from the starting, there would be less anger and more peace in youth, what do you think?

I too feel this way and see some evidence of it. We are tribal, we look to each other constantly for our value. When we are having fun creating value as a side product, much of insecurity is replaced with abundance and the generosity that allows.

That's great to hear it.

thank you for reading!
yes i absolutely agree! if we are living a purposeful life we will certainly have more peace in general and more wealth <3

Keep growing on.

Exactly. What makes us spiritual isn’t not doing rather it is not attached. This makes huge difference. I like the idea that we do to others what they want not what we want for them, it is wisdom. Thanks for sharing.

very nicely stated. following!

You are welcome:)

i appreciate the comment. thank you. we cannot and should not force people to live like we want to.

You Welcome :)

I look forward to the day, I too, can open the inner knowing of my higher mind. I too long to feel beyond the emotions and intellect, so that I am a natural and all-embracing awareness of living, full, conscious. Your expos make spiritual truth alive and whole. Again you make me cry, and my heart is dancing in these tears of joyful raindrops. I look forward to the day, I too, can open the inner

thanks

nice post

Awesome post man, love your insights!

thank you so much

Deeply reflective and observant. I like the way you look for the solution within what is available. That is the beauty of presence, we miss nothing, indeed we move out of understanding and playfulness rather than fear or resistance. Very nice, glad to find you and your work here.

i appreciate you mirroring <3

Nice post man :) It doesn't seem natural to compete for resources tho and the whole economic system is built upon competition. Doing something you enjoy is definitely paramount providing its in alignment with your values

collaboration is greater than competition. :D and when we are following our purpose, its easier to do. thank you!

perhaps nature is one flowing event, depending on our fear level, we may see the competition in that or the co operations and synergy. With a deep acceptance, trust and wonder soon follow. to accept and then wait for a benefit is not to accept at all..that is where we often fall down. we cant have control and acceptance, and would not need to.

I think the one’s who get ahead are the one’s that can behave contradictory to whatever fear they feel we all have it question is how powerful are we to overcome it. Some work environments are pure toxic and yes easier to do when aligned with a purpose. I’ve spent my whole working life doing a job i despise one that has fear at its core and not in a competitive way. Now middle aged with no other experience trying to conceptualise what im ever going to do and I cannot see any direction. Going to have to take a minimum wage job because i know thats better for me than what i do.. no money no hopes better than doing something you despise so much you can’t shake it off and just holds back from your growth maybe when im away from it for long enough by being brave and sacrificing everything inspiration will come because ill become more who im supposed to be

Yes I there is truth in that. some fear is for sure real and relevant. Much of fear is to do with how we think others will value us. Fear that is to do with our worthiness of love is pretty much impossible to overcome and often fuels destructive and wasteful patterns of addiction. The feeling of deep acceptance requires us to let go of our stories, the more we stop believing them, the more we are able to feel the world as it is. I wish you luck with your next steps, sometimes all we have to do is take them and be the best version of ourselves that we can manage on any one day. In this way honesty brings freedom, even when we have pain and doubt, it is better to sit with that that to cover it up or distract from it. Well thats what I am finding anyhow.. peace

sooo true fear of acceptance is the biggest obstacle from being your truth. It's so hard when you see others who are less fearful in that respect and have what seems to be happier lives as you say this very judgement takes us further from the truth. We are all on our own journey so accepting this is a better way of accepting yourself instead of comparing and jealousy. Definitely better to be with it than avoidance or distraction this seems to be the rational of most people. Pain is inevitable covering over delays it resisting it makes it worse although it's something i have to keep acknowledging daily, i think being brave in the face of hopelessness and despair builds strength and character. It makes way for growth, with the ability to be able to be with it allows that growth i don't think you can truly move on until your happy with where you are, generally speaking anyway as we all have good days and crap days but when it starts to tip into more good then we are winning the war within ourselves x

as others on here, much wiser than I have said :) @alignment
the mind compares, it creates distinctions
it turns these into responses that behave like instincts
we react, not to our environment, but to our stories
using the mind to escape the mind will only get us so far..
as you say, good days, bad days.
even positive thinking is still setting up distinctions that we will compare to reality.
But how can we compare reality?
what are we comparing it to?
you see the conflict?
to think, no matter how clever or wise
is to set up a parrallel version of reality and then react to that
so long as we can control, we may get what we want, may meet those conditions that we set.
But in an infinitely connected world - control is a tall order.
I'd rather just stay amused and watch the whole thing unfold around me, laughing at my own opinions, judgements and condition-ing
when I stop laughing...I know I have become upset...time to go to bed...tomorrow is a brand new way

ha ha ...god I can crap on :)
the mind is tricky

it will always find an excuse to take our attention from our senses.
only when we can stay with them, can we know
acceptance is joy.

how do you spell hypocrite?
arf! arf!

oh wow more hahaha xxxx yeah i believe that positivity can be a bit fake rly like it's there when it wants to be for me it happens after yoga or meditating then i find the difficult part is to try enjoy everything in a peaceful way. A difficult order when everything is amazing your walking around the place like your in an amazing video game every sight every person every object just seems surreal like the space in-between has more prominence than it all.

Its such a trap to want to spend your whole life trying to ascend more tho.. at the end of the day ego is a part of life there is so much that you can do to be more free from it and generally if you are committed in the right way and compassionate when your not then growth is inevitable. Sometimes i wonder where we would be if we were all in complete bliss im not sure you'd be able to appreciate life as much.

Im not quite sure how to answer your questions tho it's weird because i was having coffee with a spiritual friend a few months back and this question arose i think after reflection i actually agree more with what he was saying than i thought cos he basically asked that question as more of a statement when i was trying to tell i'm trying to ground (and im not even sure what that means either lol) but as you say trying to accept everything.

Theres a youtube channel called barty & jody and i think they've really helped me see that reality is whatever we want it to be because we are the creators of it that we actually chose everything as you say when we separated from ourselves from love in order to define who we are. Some of the opinons and judgement we have can be hilarious think the more you grow the more can see how asleep you rly were hahaha like i must of brought into some it at some point hahah because thats how beliefs start and they are what controls us in so many ways

lots of great stuff in there, agree there's enough irony I one life to keep us thinking in circles indefinitely. I listened to Jiddu Krishnamurti repeat himself to some of the same people over a 30 year period - I wonder if they were still looking for an angle lol...that man had incredible perseverance. I guess a smile is worth as much as a thousand words lol.. a real smile, one of understanding the same joke.

Really nice post thanks for sharing ...resteemed

thank you

Great innerstanding. Great post. Joy
