It has been a while I discussed wrestling of any kind, I didn't even do one for Wrestle Mania. However, the Money in the Bank show was so good that I felt it deserving of taking a few minutes to share my thoughts.
The overall show was a great one. I give it an A-(am hard to impress, lol). There were a few glitches here and there but it was as solid as it could be, given the card. Let's move on to the matches shall we:
Bludgeon brothers defeated the Good Brothers
An exciting match to kickoff the PPV event. The Raw tag team championship was on the line as the resident Barbarians defended their titles against Gallows and Anderson. The match certainly lasted longer than I expected and was a solid show. As expected though, the bludgeon brothers picked up the victory.
Carmella def Asuka
A great deal of dissatisfying decisions has been coming from the women's division lately. I knew somehow Carmella was going to retain her title against a woman thoroughly deserving of being champion, Asuka. It happened in the most ridiculous fashion with a comeback by the 'chinless one' distracting Asuka for the victory. Not a bad match but a totally unfair result.

Bobby Lashley Defense Sami Zayn
Perhaps the worst fued in WWE history set this particular match for failure, and fail it did. The crowd looked uninterested as Bobby Lashley dominated for the victory. I hope they get booked better going forward before WWE kills the careers of two great Wrestlers.
Grade: D
Roman Reigns def Jinder Mahal
A bit similar to the Lashley feud in terms of crowd reaction. This was a pretty good match though as Roman reigns defeated the Modern day Maharajah. The fans voiced their displeasure with Roman Reigns throughout the match, I hope WWE will listen and stop pushing him again and again.
Grade: B-
Womens Money in the Bank Match
Of all the talented women in the match, it is the one person who the fans didn't want that ended up winning. That's Right, Alexa Bliss picked up the victory, and there was more drama to come later. The match itself was excellent with all women showing their exceptional talent and dedication to their craft.
Grade: A
AJ Styles def Nakamura
This was my second most anticipated match of the night, A last man standing match for the WWE championship. Having fought several times since wrestle mania you'd think they both couldn't possibly have more to offer. The match was an absolute spectacle and ended with AJ Styles picking up the victory. Both superstars are excellent showmen.
Grade: A
Rhonda Rousey is Nia Jax
The most anticipated Women's Match in history between twould very strong Women ended up with the spotlight taken away at the end of what was a great performance by both, especially Rhonda.Alexa Bliss cashed in her MITB briefcase won earlier to pick up the win and the championship. A horrendous ending in my opinion.
Grade: B+
Men's Money in the Bank Match
A crazy, thrilling, breath taking encounter finished with Braun Strowman standing tall with the briefcase. The match was perfect, really. I do feel that Braun shouldn't have won though, as does he really need a money in the Bank to beat Brock Lesnar? I'd have loved to see the New Day's Kofi Kingston picking up the victory.
Grade: A+
