At times, we need to help our players create more coil, like pulling on a rubber band. That tension can be harnessed and released to fire our barrel harder and faster into contact. 1 legged coil drills help to provide instant feedback for the quality of our rotation, while reinforcing the idea that we can both turn and stay back over the back leg. Not a bad way to address the efficiency of our hand’s first move either.
