Be fit Or be Dead #19

This has not happened yet - total death in the middle of training.

I keep my posts in the form of a diary, so I will start from the beginning. In recent days, I've changed my diet a bit. I have significantly reduced the amount of carbohydrates, and I try to draw energy from fats (both mine and those provided in food).
The ideal proportions of the ketogenic diet are 70% fat, 20% protein and only 10% carbohydrates in the diet. Unfortunately, it's very hard to get such proportions, but it is enough that the carbohydrates will be reduced accordingly in the diet, and the body begins to behave differently.

I think the whole secret of yesterday is due to the diet.

In the morning for breakfast I ate eggs with ham, ate fruit at noon, in the early afternoon, at lunchtime, ate chicken with vegetables - as you can see, there are not too many carbohydrates, but all day I had a lot more energy than usual, and I also went to training charged with energy.

And here begins the story of yesterday's training -

I normally exercise at load level 5, but since I felt so good, I set the load to 6

Of course, the time is set for 60 minutes.

I started strongly, and the training lasted well - up to 28 minutes.

My body, however, is not yet accustomed to long-term heavy load. For almost half an hour, the heart pumped blood at around 150 beats per minute. Getting faster and deeper breaths gave me a signal that something is changing.
In my opinion, the lack of carbohydrates in the diet caused a small amount of glycogen (i.e. fuel) in the muscles. Fuel supplies were quickly burned during hard training, and it was necessary to work hard, because the orbitrec was at the highest load then.
Unfortunately, that was too much.
My legs began to shake, my breathing was much faster and my eyes started to dark, I had to slow down.

In conclusion -

the training lasted only half an hour + 5 minutes of cooling down, i.e. a quiet workout for calming the heart rate.

I spent over half the training time in the aerobic zone.

I know one thing - yesterday was real

rock'n'roll

Tomorrow is another training, the last before Saturday measurements. If I decide on the 6th load level, I will definitely choose the interval training program. It is too early for a steady, long-lasting intense exercise with pulse around 160
