Well, the crypto-market is definitely not helping our SPUD initiative for May 1, 2019. I continue to be enthusiastic about Steem and Steem Powers’ ability to empower the individual the World over regardless of the fiat price of Steem.
Many Steemians today take STEEM as a form of donation or payment. One of the most important tools on the Steem blockchain for ignoring fiat is the website SteemGigs.
The Steemgigs website is the Steem Blockchain’s version of the Fivver website, except that the jobs or listings use Steem coin as payment.
This is very important for the Steem ecosystem because it creates real world use for Steem. How many other cryptocurrencies can say that?? Not many, that’s for sure!!
So if you have a talent or specialty like marketing, web design, programing, graphics or other, check out Steemgigs... and from what I can see, the posting even gets rewarded besides getting paid if you get a “gig.”
There are many other examples of Steem being used instead of paper money, and each one add strength and validity to this movement we call the Steem Blockchain.
