"SPUD X" by Richard F. Yates

Spuds, for me at least, have a certain creepiness and homeyness at the same time. I mean, they have a whole bunch of "EYES," which is creepy, but they also remind me of DEVO, one of my all time favorite bands who I've loved since I was a little kid. (Hence the "homey" elements...) ("I'm only a spud-boy, looking for a real tomato!") So, for this Spud-i-bration, I drew a creepy, multi-eyed spud, as well as doing my power-up duties.

Hey folks! Welcome to SPUD X.

Today (about twenty minutes ago, actually, I POWERED UP 115.405 STEEM, bringing my SP to 1,873.549. Not the biggest power-up ever, but not bad for a little guy from the Northwest running on grit and cinnamon!

Next, in minor news, I started editing my next book project---FINALLY! I'm compiling my uncle, Randy Long's, two different "BIGFOOT" stories (both about novella length) into a single text. UNFORTUNATELY, my first attempt met with....challenges. We now have two new kittens, and as soon as I got my laptop out and sat down on the floor (I often type while sitting on the floor), the little furballs were ALL OVER ME. They were on the keyboard, climbing up my back, chewing on the power-cord...

It didn't go well.

After about a minute and half, I decided it wasn't possible to continue, and I closed the laptop. Luckily, little kittens run HOT, so they buzzed around the room for a while, then they dropped over and went to sleep. I resumed my editing...

That was today... I'm keeping moving, trying to get my stars back in alignment, and taking it to the streets! (None of that makes much sense, but hopefully, it sounds good!)
