Happy to talk to community

in steem •  5 years ago

I guess this is all about the values hierarchy. Decentralization and democratic governance come before making money. Steem develops all the time, it was pointless to organize a marketing campaign before implementing communities so here we are. Obviously, leadership was far from perfect (I mean Steemit Inc here) but change just for a sake of change is stupidity.

If you refer to political metaphors, it's like voting for far-right movements just for a sake of strong and confident leaders, while in reality, nobody knows shit. Strength of Steem blockchain comes from decentralization only, otherwise, it's no competition for other major players...

Hierarchy? Oppressive patriarchy maybe :D

Yes, sure, we can see that, or not

it was pointless to organize a marketing campaign before implementing communities so here we are

What a fcuk were they waiting for?
2-3 years to implement a filter, basically?
It can be done in 15 minutes

If that would be so easy, why nobody did code and propose it? The platform we both use is something truly revolutionary, it might bring the new paradigm in how social media works in general. It's expectable that it takes time and effort to bring new features after being sure it won't disrupt a system at another point. Do you really want to trade this potential for short-term gains?

I understand you might feel angry, but anger is not a good adviser...

Hierarchy? Oppressive patriarchy maybe :D

Read again my words...

If that would be so easy, why nobody did code and propose it?

Because there are no users for this garbage, thus why losing time to code something nobody uses?

Do you really want to trade this potential for short-term gains?

Yes

It's time to grow up

You are blind and you use truly naive cliche understanding of being grown-up. Thank you for the conversation. Good luck.
