Not that I know of, there was a post on Steemit citing the same source that was flying around.

Nothing is confirmed but the rumor alone is enough to cause a pump. Im worried that it was just speculation and a fake out pump by market manipulators. If he really does buy STEEM I will be able to cash out a bunch and still have plenty of SP to go around.
