I'd like to start to understand why individuals like @seanking can appoint themselves as the "censorship" police?
Also, who actually voted these individuals for this position?
Do they have to go through the same protocols associated with becoming a "witness"?
I'm curious to hear people's thoughts on this matter?
After all, I'm feeling a little victimised as he continues to find it his mission to Down Vote my posts.
What criteria is he following? Can he list the other posts he is Down Voting? Please elaborate any pertinent reasons why?
May I suggest he compiles his own "white paper" on the requirements for posting content on steem?

With this comment you touched on one of the other BIG FLAWS of Steemit. It's in-transparency.
You say "steem", but it has to be "Steemit".
"steem" is euhm, well, eeurr, yes, it, well in short it is not Steemit.
The whole platform is a labyrinth with confusing terms and a user interface that sucks, without a search function that works.
It looks like it was constructed based on some idea. Then somebody added a hack.
Then somebody else added another hack on top of this hack etc. etc.
My guess is, Steemit will get forked soon into other better performing platforms and die like "Geocities", "Messenger" etc.

He also down-voted my last three posts. Which were my most successful ones with up to 14 upvotes which is a lot for me especially since I've been on this platform for about a week.
I don't really get why, I understand that I share nsfw content but it is allowed as long as we tag it as such. And given the upvotes we get we could believe people enjoy our content?
On top of being censored we seem to lose our payout as well and our follower lose out on their curator payout which is quite unfair.
My reputation went from 35 to 15, I'm not really sure what this metric is for though.
On top of that the poor guy has poor taste seeing what he resteems and posts.

Definitely is. Looking into it a bit, he seems to only down-vote content posted in categories where he posts. It is almost to wonder if he does that to "fight" the competition and increase his gains.
It's quite sad because we don't all do this for money, I would have made 30 cents with the posts he censored. He has much more to gain.
I think overall it lowers the intrinsic value of steemit honestly and brings negativity to the community.
The whole steemit system "filters out" the "bad" content, and bad content is subjective, the community should decide with their upvotes what is bad content and what is good content not one single guy. I don't see why his downvote should outweigh dozens of upvotes.

Agreed, he has down voted 13 of my posts today; ranging from 5% to 100%. Considering the weight of his steem power, it strikes me as overkill!! I wonder how many others he is "censoring"??

It's all he does. He is surely part of a group that make profit out of some type of scheme based on that. Hopefully if we work together he won't have enough voting power to keep censoring everyone.
Edit: He did 60+ downvotes in less than 2 hours, after doing some math he can't sustain that so all we have to do is to keep posting and try to get more upvotes.

I posted yesterday to a DOWN-VOTE FAN CLUB member about how if you are going to encourage this behavior you are obligated to post that there is an appeal process through the chat function . I say same here . I believe CHEETAH has the process in their speech . I hope my info serves your needs .

I have the same questions about censorship in SteemIt, to me it looks even worst than the censorship in Facebook. They censored a post I made because it does not follow the "pharmaceutical industry teachings".
