@sweetsssj already replied to these misleading allegations in her reply to @walden's slanderous post 5 days ago. In case you missed it, here it is in full:

This has gone far enough.

You should find better things to do than try start witch hunts based on incomplete and defamatory information. I devote the large majority of votes to my friends and family who happen to come from a country (China) where Crypto is quickly becoming incredibly difficult to use. Yet, the value of a platform which gives them a voice and freedom from oppressive regimes is something I will continue to push, not just to my friends and family, but people all over China as well as the developing world at large. Countless people have joined Steemit because of my efforts over the last 1.5 years, and even more people who are now inspired to write travel and food blogs from seeing my blogs as an example.

I will support the people who have decide to take up steemit because it is their only avenue for expressing themselves freely. This is an intangible value which even with my full vote cannot be measured or felt in the short term. Rather, the rippling effect of being able to remain free to share, participate and earn will collectively contribute to a movement freeing a nation of people from oppression and censorship.

Those of you who insist on continuing the witch hunt by parading higher moral fibre whilst turning an eye to actual abuse, may I remind you that you are harming my friends, family and other people whom I support because you simply do not know the other half of the story. It is far easier for you to complain at the apparent injustice and go the route of ad hominem, completely forgetting the fact that for every bit of extra reward earned by one person, another has to compromise. This is not a socialist platform, and it never will be, please do not perceive the fact that rewards going to some people mean that if that were not the case, the rewards would be coming to you. It simply doesn't work like that.

Friends, family - including my own parents, uncles, aunties have contributed what I deem to be valuable, and I am acting within the rules set forth by the protocol by voting for them. A lot of the issues here seem to be directed at the fact that my friends and family send their earnings to a single place to cash out, how is that illegal? How is it fraudulent? How is it wrong that a family member cashes out the crypto on behalf of people in a country where crypto has pretty much been outlawed and the three largest crypto exchanges have now been shut down with more oppression to come?

Are you judging their content at all? Or are you just jealous that you are not a close friend or family member and that voting for friends and family is illegal and fraudulent on this platform? (It's not) Because should you want to exercise such a high standard of morality, then you surely have better cases to be worried about than me and my circle of friends and family who contribute real content and not just 4 word comments and self voted n number of times per day. If you want a good look at an example of that, then take a look at :

I suppose your grandiose accusations of grand theft and fraud on my part despite my explanations are some how in your mind still worth attacking, and likely boil down to the fact that you probably just don't like me for whatever reason, and have chosen to go the selective bully route because you probably feel cheated at the fact that I've never voted for you. Unlike other stake holders with considerable SP, I have never thrown downvotes around or threatened them, and you probably feel comforted by that making me an even easier target.

Over a year ago, I met Ned and invited him to dinner along with my mother in Hong Kong. He recommended that I get her and the rest of my family to join Steemit. She is one of the first people from my circle to join, and has been contributing diligently for over a year. She along with the rest of our friends and family have done nothing wrong and by launching your attack on them, you are in effect saying you think people who write 500+ words often in two languages and post original images similar to the kind that I do, do not deserve their rewards whilst people who write 4 letter comments do. It's so easy to turn a blind eye sometimes but I guess as they say : a drowning man will clutch at straws. Frankly, if you directed your energy into writing something of my liking, like the many other people who you haven't listed which I support, then I would still consider upvoting you. As it stands, false defamatory posts painting an incomplete picture of the situation will not attract my attention, and you vehemently asserting incorrect facts will not, and do not, make them true.

Flagging because frankly, that’s a bunch of bullshit and I don’t care about her excuses.

And you honestly don’t believe she wrote that, do you?

Yes, I do believe she wrote that.

She has an undergraduate degree in Marketing and a graduate degree in International Relations from a university in England. She is one of the hardest working and most successful bloggers on our platform. We are very lucky to have her.

She went through a series of attacks when she was just starting out here, and by some of the very same people doing so now. They seemed to think that she was getting upvotes because she was a pretty girl. She undoubtedly is that, but she also puts enormous efforts into her posts, much more than most. It is very time consuming to respond to all her commenters, but she does so.

To what do you attribute her over 26 thousand followers?

I attribute that to a bot and a bunch of dead accounts. Fuck, you're ignorant..

@Sweetsssj:
I haven't been involved in crypto long enough, so I don't have good experience with how to cash out.

Aww Bernie, I've always followed you because I've appreciated your frankness, and you have an entertainment value for me, (kind of like dinner and a movie :) but it's just mean of you to downvote when people disagree with you. What about freedom of speech?Quite honestly, I've watched @sweetsssj start from nothing and has worked very hard to get where she is today. The posts I have seen are very long which means she puts a lot of work into them. I don't see her posting 2-3 times per day like the last person you stopped. I feel that @sweetsssj is a success story that I enjoy. I'm asking you nicely to please not downvote people (including me, and I know you could crush my reputation) in your post.

Flagging you on this thread for
-abuse of your multiple sock puppet Steemit accounts used to upvote yourself
-abuse of your multiple sock puppet Steemit accounts to abusively downvote other Steemers.
-unmerited rewards
-hate speech and trolling

Frankly, if you directed your energy into writing something of my liking, like the many other people who you haven't listed which I support, then I would still consider upvoting you.

Pictures of my daily diet of food and travels others can't afford coming up!

That's a pretty impressive answer. Where's the part about upvoting at the last minute?

She should know, just like most other Steemians that a big, fat, whale upvote will put the article in trending. Shouldn't that be in her interest?

I mean, she wants to help her mother and family members and yada yada, to contribute, earn and grow. There's nothing wrong with that.

Many of her family members have 20 views on their articles and still earn $250+, because she gave them an upvote. I'm okay with that too, because I've seen this shit for a long time. Whales upvoting only themselves or each other and so on... You name it. I've seen it all during my 21 months here.

What I still find rather odd, no matter how great answer she had... Is still the part about last minute upvotes. I can't find one good, solid and legit reason to not upvote immediately when her family members have published the articles. They would yield much better result by doing that. And we all know that.

That being said, I have no problem with her, her content or her rewards... And I have no problem with the whole "I support the inner circle" thing, because most people are doing or have been doing that ever since Steemit launched.

What I find suspicious, odd and strange is the last minute upvotes. And that's basically the only thing she did not respond too in her awesome answer. To me, it looks like she's trying to hide it and she's trying to minimize the risk for flags. That's the only logical reason I can think of.

Thanks for sharing it.

  1. Self voting is a claim you make based on them sharing the same memo. You don't know enough about me, my friends, my family, the situation of cashing out in China, to be sufficiently informed about why this is necessary. So yes, this is false.

  2. You're welcome.

  3. Not a single person called 'walden' has messaged me on Steemit chat which is the only place I ever hang out.

4) I vote within the time period permissible by the rules of the protocol.

Since she is obviously much more of a sucess on steemit than I am as a blogger, and she is breaking no rules, why would I try to seond guess her strategy to say it is wrong?

She certainly has brought MANY people to our platform, has a huge following, and is making my stake in steemit more valuable through her efforts. We are very lucky to have her here. I'm sure she could make a very good living in any of a number of ways.

Yeah, okay. So the only thing she says is the "protocol" line regarding that.

Like I said, I have no problem with her at all and I know she's brought a ton of people to Steemit and several thousand people loves her content. She's definitely a good person for Steemit to have in terms of growth but I still can't see how

"I vote within the time period permissible by the rules of the protocol."

is a good answer when she explains that she wants to support her family members and friends. She upvotes her family members to support them which is fine and I can understand that... But she does so an hour before payout, so they won't get all the benefits from her support. They get the money but no exposure.

How is that good for them?

Oh well, it's not my headache and even though I think this is suspicious and odd, there's so many other things going on so this is basically nothing in comparison. I appreciate your replies though. Thank you!

Imagine this platform having millions of users, now imagine writing dumb comment and becoming a millionaire. Stupid isnt it ? Sad but true. Getting credit for someone else's work sounds familiar ? I saw some idiot put a comment on post with like 3k views post had like 2-3$ reward total. Guy just shared a link to hes website that had nothing to do with OP content or debate whatsoever. He self voted hes comment and it was first comment you see it had like 7-8$. This will kill platform long term, people come figure things out and leave. No long term vision for original content creators, they just tell you its good for content creators and its quite the opposite.

It's definitely not perfect, but content creators take a much bigger share of the pie here than any other site I've seen.

Good for them but that wasnt my point things like that shouldnt be allowed to happen in a first place, im just saying system is very bad and unsustainable at higher levels.

And what is a good, sustainable system? The only ones so far are highly centralized publishing companies. Do you think those are better than this? Do you have a better idea? I honestly would love it if you had something better than this, because I'm only here since it's the best I've found so far. Is there something better? Can you envision something better?

Not sure how old you are but i remember google in like 90's and 2000 when it used to be a real search engine when you could find anything you wanted and you could brose millions of pages if you wanted to. Today you cant even get past like 100-200 results and most of them are inserted there its not a real search. Over time since more and more people got involved they switched priorities, and also free flow of information doesnt seem to suit guys at the top. Also they seem to be operating differently in different countries since if something works in US its clearly not good for somewhere else. Steemit is very little and young platform its all fun and games now, until they get a little bigger than the real show begins when government start interfering. As to centralized or not that really doesnt matter, because there are different types of decentralization and on different levels and plains. Saying decentralized just because data gets stored on blockchain means nothing because people form groups and you get some kind of centralization anyway. Problem with whole crypto world and this platform isnt decentralization its the people on top. You can have centralized system that just wont do censorship in that kind of system you get few on top that are responsible for it. This platform is "decentralized" and has "no censorship" in a way you can put anything you want on it go speak against platform or something similar and talk about censorship then. All those companies are sustainable and they have been here for years. And they are sustainable because they rely on ads and other stuff, ads have purpose and work for both sides platform gets paid than pays creators, and advertiser gets exposure with potential new customers so everyone has incentive there. So for outside investor you get in pay your way and get your share of that action. Here firstly your content will never get seen unless you have money invested here. The content gets buried by all the self promoting garbage faster then you hit the post button. I dont even want to start writing here just because of that. I did write few garbage posts to test the platform and got like few views. i dont really care about that anyway since i use other sites and i do fine there. On this platform investors have no incentives since if you invest here you will just burn money since Steemit doesnt really have any income streams other than burning your money. Yes you can make money here but it just shrinks over time. I dont really share my ideas with anyone i know how world works some moron just comes and takes credit for it, no woder you have so many provoking articles and click baits to provoke people into conversations. People have no good ideas anymore (atleast people on top dont). Atleast when you go on reddit and enter some sub you like you get what you came for only bad thing there is down voting but thats just groups being mean has nothing to do with censorship. You can write a post it gets seen by everybody there who is interested will take a look who wants to help will help, pure organic. There are shadow bans but thats another topic. Here you get advertised one thing and get another people arent that stupid. Here as far as i see it people come stay a month or to and leave. Most user base is from 3rd world counties that come here to earn little to no money. I can talk about this for days or publish a book but fuck that il just stay on other platforms and just come here from time to time. I dont want to be the guy with a vision for someone else's idea. If i wanted to make a platform that works i would be working on it not chating here on one that doesnt and let my work do the talk. Since talk is cheap and i see lots of people here talking about similar things but nothing gets done about it. For me thats just politics and i tend to stay away from them. Sorry im kinda scatter brain when it comes to writing for me to explain my vision and ideas is kinda time consuming for me and i like to be detailed. So if i would want to explain my vision i would end up writing thousands of pages of paper from start to finish that would turn into like whitepaper at that point i wouldnt care less about steemit would start my own company and build my own shit not explain to people what they are doing wrong and on how many levels. I want to stick to things i like write about it exchange ideas with like minded people i came under the impression this could be a good platform for that and i realized its not.

Main problem with all this social media platforms is idiots in cubicles and suits that dont spend time with real people and have lost touch with reality. Where you have idiots debating global warming and changes, and those people dont spend like 20 minutes per day outside they go from home to car to job to car to home etc. But they look at some fabricated documents with numbers from 2 different sides and money just changes hands problems dont get solved and life goes on.

This platforms should be just extensions of real world people interactions not some sterile garbage of unilateral thoughts. Where you cant say this or do that. So i didnt come here to upvote my posts or upvote others so they can upvote me, i just upvote things i like and respect so in a way i am supporting them, also on the other hand i dont wont anyone upvoting my post or comment or anything just for some sake of it. This is like some poorly augmented democracy where your vote has more power than other guy. If you are a writer or reader it really shouldnt matter. Its like if country candidates for presidency or congress or you name it would pay people for vote, but candidates could pick their paying price so candidate who pays more per vote would win of course. There should be no earning from voting or there should be some kind of risk implemented. Im talking here about you getting paid by voting someone elses work. And also self voting should be excluded. That would solve some problems for starter. Votes should count maybe not with monetary value but should atleast give some credit to author maybe respect/influence not sure how its called here. And curation rewards could go towards platform or get split platform/author. There are many ways you can look at this depending on what you want to achieve. You cant even interact here that well so you need to go to some other platform and ask questions. You have no rooms here or something that would look like subreddit on reddit or some sort of forum. So many things so little time.

I would like to stop this conversation now if you decide to post more comments i will read them but i will not be responding anymore. This kinds of debates are pointless.

Thank you for your time.
