Steem wallet

For now the software wallet is a CLI-only wallet that is mainly compiled in Linux. You can run Linux in a Virtual Machine with VMWare Workstation Player. Download an Ubuntu 14.04 or 16.04 iso, create a VM using it as the installation disk, and once it's all installed you can follow a guide like this one to get Steemd and the cli_wallet up and running. https://steemit.com/steemhelp/@joseph/mining-steem-for-dummies

If this is all too technical I'm afraid you'll have to wait. But anyone can do this, it's sometimes just a matter of patience and a willingness to learn.
