God needs the young people,he is really interested in us.Mark 10:15 points to the fact that "whoever does not recieve the kingdom of God like a child cannot enter into it".
God is interested in our youthful nature and innocence,we should surrender ourselves to be used by him. Serving God is essential in the days of our youth because there are things our strength may not let us do when we age.
