We have a verge out the front of our place that the edges over time have sunk a little, so since i have been growing some grass lately i thought i would try and make it look nicer.

About a week ago i went around the edge with some left over sand to fill in any gaps etc, left it a week to settle and then we come today.

I got a couple bags of top soil which is weed free to go over the top of the sand and fill in some low spots.

Here it is with topsoil put over the sand.

This is the grass seed i had left over from my pool round planting, on the left is the topsoil bags i got today.

Had quite a bit of Grass seed left so i made sure it got a really good covering.

Then after the grass seed went on i added another thin layer of topsoil for a couple of reasons....

• i think that a thin layer helps hide the grass seed from birds who like to eat it. 🐦🦃🐔🐓🐣🐤🦢🦆🦅🕊️🐧🐥
• another thin layer just helps when this soil compacts a little.

I am not an expert on these things so please do your own research LOL🙄😁

Apart from a 5K walk just before lunch and our normal Sunday morning trip to the supermarket this is all i have been up to today.

It must be getting close to Bourbon n coke time me thinks 😁
