Food waste is a major environmental issue we face and this team come up with a great product for the overcome it made an environmental friendly pot that allow the plants to grow easily in nature.
Alphapot is 100% biodegradable, 100% Food Waste Fiber+ Vege Starch + Emulsion, 0% plastic (PP,PET...) 0% bio-plastic(PLA), helping to reduce and repurpose food waste in an environmentally friendly way.
Main features
- Designed with a round base to hold a plant from a standard 4 inch pot, and the square opening feature allows for pots to be interconnected.
- It holds water in a corner reservoir and it comes with a wick system that extends into the reservoir, so your plant will draw just the right amount of water needed from the reservoir, you just need to fill the reservoir.
- Water retainable
- Modular designed
- Directly transplantable

Like you said food waste is a big problem in todays society, despite trying to generally reducing food waste by not producing that much this is a really cool product also fighting this cause. Really love the water reservoir so the plant just takes the water it needs and over watering will be a issue from the past!

Best find I saw today. The idea is nothing new, we've all seen waste materials turned into something else. What makes this stand out for me is that it's also beautifully designed. There's just something cool and modern about the way it looks. The colors look great too. Even without a plant, it still looks good on its own.
