[Steemhunt] Social Airdrop and the meaning of it.

All kind of Dapps based on Steem have one specific fate in common. How to increase the awareness within the Steem community. An interesting fact is, that after reaching the Steem community the next step is to reach out of this specific community. The reason is, even with over 1 Mil. accounts registered the real active number of users is still limited.

With HF-20 there is a possibility to get users easier on a platform, as the registration will be much easier. So at the end of September, when HF-20 is launching, I hope we will see a lot of Dapps attracting users from outside.

Steemhunt does not wait for HF-20 to start already the efforts to attract outside users

It was just announced that Steemhunt will now airdrop daily 90.000 Tokens for traffic generated from users and coming outside of Steemhunt.

1. Hunt token social airdrop

The sharing works with pressing the share button below each hunt post.

• Share cool hunts on Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest. It does not need to be your own hunt.
• Steemhunt will count the traffic generated from your share.
• The counting will be done automatically when sharing through the share button.
• You have to be logged in to Steemhunt

Calculation of the Tokens works as below.

• 90.000 Token / [Your traffic vs. the daily total traffic generated]
  -> If you have posted alone and the total daily traffic is 10.000, you will get 9 tokens per click.
• Max tokens per click are 100.
  -> If you have posted alone and the traffic was 100, you don`t get the whole 90.000 tokens but 100x100=10.000 tokens.

2. Meaning of this airdrop

At the moment it is not easy to convert a new user from outside to a registered user. But with HF-20 coming this 25th of September it will be much easier to convince a new user to join the community. The pre-burning on marketing has already started with Steemhunts Social airdrop.

It may be difficult for all users to become excellent product hunters, but there are plenty of methods to become a good hunter for getting people on board and receiving hunt tokens from that activity. If you are good at Facebook, Twitter or co., you should definitely try it.

3. Conclusion

Not only this Social Airdrop but also writing good posts about Steemhunt outside of Steem and sharing it in Discord at #contribution is a good way to earn more Hunt tokens.

After following the path as a community member, moderator and community manager from Steemhunt I strongly believe that this platform will succeed, as we have a healthy community, a working platform and daily over 300 hunts from worldwide hunters. How many Blockchain projects can actually show that kind of DAU? :)
