Smart Rings are becoming more and more popular as a way to be notified of incoming messages or even as a NFC payment device.
But the R3 Smart Ring claims to have a few other benefits too.
Namely, in it's manufacturing process, which includes the use of liquid metal glass and 73 hours of continuous processing, to deliver a flawless end product.
And a NFC Smart ring can be used for a number of applications:-
- Payment Device
- Security Device
- Use as an elevator card
- Or even use as NFC enabled Metro Card
Near Field Communications (NFC) will become a big part of our lives and I can imagine more people will have a device live the Jakcom R3 Smart Ring.
Your other alternative is to have something embedded into your hand but for now I'll take the ring option.

Love the idea about smart rings! Everything will be save on your fingers and you don't need all these cards anymore. Easy payment, easy storage of any card.

I'm a big fan of rings; I think they are a great accessory but, I'm also a fan of technology, and I love when the two get combined into one thing. I think it is a way better alternative than those implants and, I'm looking forward to more similar devices that push the innovation into this space even forward.

Personally, I think implants are closer than we think. If you can get enough tech inside the size of a ring the implant footprint is getting smaller.
But a ring will be much easier to take off, when you want to disconnect from the world.

Wow incredible hunting the truth this has redefined the concept I had of the rings, the truth was that they were just a piece of expensive metal. but this ring has left me open-mouthed with the large number of functions it has. The truth seems to me very practical the function of Device of payment since this leaves behind the tedious cards. Excellent hunting really continues like that!

i don't think people care about being 'natural' at a till, they just wanna be in and out and will use whatever they have. it's gonna be a bunch of different ways to pay and of course, it has to reliable and have good build quality too for mass adoption.
