Although all kind of smoking is dangerous for health, but this tech is for people who are so addicted to smoking that they can't quit.
At the heart of IQOS are sophisticated electronics that heat specially designed heated tobacco units. IQOS heats the tobacco just enough to release a flavorful nicotine-containing tobacco vapor but without burning the tobacco.

Normally the cigarettes burns at temperature above 600C, generating smoke that has high level of harmful chemicals.
The IQOS heats the tobacco to just 350C. This heating without combustion generates no fire, smoke or ash and only true nicotine rich vapor from tobacco is released.
Because of low temperature combustionless heating technology the level of harmful chemicals released are reduced by 90%.

I'm not really sure about such products in general. Generally speaking they often only rely on a simple study without being tested longterm and stuff. And also I see the problem that many may some more just because of the fact they promote it with 90% less harmful chemicals. I smoke myself but in general I really have to say either you quite or you don't. That's it.

The company has filed for FDA approval and also invited multiple independent agencies/organizations to conduct studies and testing on IQOS...
I guess we are going to see better picture of the product usefulness in near future.

many people are working harder to leave smoking and this is one of the taughest work i have seen i hope your product will help them out and get them relief from cigrettes .

Smoking is some thing you can,t quit without killing your self form inside out. and here this product is alternative of the cigarette but it also is for smoking purpose. how every it is not as harmful as compare to other cigarettes but still it is the same for us.

If this product same as above quoted then it is a great product for that purpose and the product will prevent the smoking addicted person if the person do same as the product. hope then they leave the cigarette and hold himself on this decision then the success in his/her hand.

Obviously, smoking is a bad habit and it is dangerous for our health. We know it is dangerous but sometimes we addicted more and difficult to leave this habit. I hope IQOS will be the great solution for the chain smoker.

This is the closest one can come to smoking relatively safely. Heated tobacco will be safer than partially burnt tobacco that produces co. Still i think vaping is better, tobacco should be cut out all together.
