Steemit as a platform that provides the quickest incentive I'm currently aware of for the creation and curation of open source content. The type of open source content I focus on most revolves around open source architecture of built environments and infrastructure. I plan to be a part of expanding the kinds of content creation and curation that Steemit rewards to include open source Building Information Modeling (BIM).
