So I finally heard back from coinmarketcap.com about advertising on their website and It seems I can get our ad's listed

I have hired @kyriacos to design the advertisement, I'm going to be doing a 300$ campaign as a test run to see how many clicks we receive as soon as it is finished.

Before advertising for more people steemit should improve sign up process. I am waiting for a over a week for a new account.

I have created 3 accounts with no issue, and also i have 2 accounts that have taken over a week now and still no confirmation email. I feel like its kinda hit or miss. But I agree this is a major issue.

How are you tracking conversions? Also a dedicated landing page would definitely increase conversions on this.
If an incentivized referral program (like referralcandy, etc) was implemented, it would grow even faster.
Also a simple onboarding sequence upon sign-up, and a reactivation strategy (activating lapsed users via email) would increase daily active users.
Steemit is one of the few blockchain-based technologies that is ready for mass-market adoption right now. I believe this can be orchestrated if we work together to leverage proven growth strategies to shorten the road to critical mass.
Targeted campaigns specifically directed at influencers is another way to use leverage. When they come, they bring built-in groups of already-engaged followers.
