People don't make most of their money off of Steemit. If you pay attention the people that are successful on steemit have referral links and donations that they advertise and capatalize on. Even developers speak and bring people to their other projects from steemit.

    I think I get it but I'm so new to this arena that it will take a while to learn what is actually going on and how to earn some change. Thank you for the point in the right direction.

      There are some people that do live off of posting on Steem but from what I have seen they dont get a day off.
